I tried to figure it out from the tutorial, but I was so lost in it I had no idea what to do. I’ve tried writing a formula to filter it and then get met with an error every time. Perfect for maintaining updated records without the need for manual data entry, this workflow saves you valuable time and ensures a seamless integration between Gmail and Airtable. When I test it with an existing record, it just starts updating a variety of existing records instead of the one that matches. When a new email that matches your specified search arrives in your Gmail inbox, this workflow will update or create a record in your Airtable base.

I want it to search based on the same field in both tabs, Participant Name, and have tried to set this up but it doesn’t seem to be working.

With 6,000 + supported apps, the possibilities are endless. I know the problem I am having has to rely in the search portion of the setup. Connect Airtable with Gmail and Google Drive Zapier Airtable + Gmail + Google Drive Integrations Integrations How to connect Airtable + Gmail + Google Drive Zapier lets you send info between Airtable and Gmail and Google Drive automaticallyno code required. We want to use Integromat to read that data, then search another tab within the same base in Airtable and then either create or update a record depending on whether or not it is already there. Ideally, this is how it will work - we have a form in Airtable set up to go to it’s own tab. I have tried two routes and keep running into the same problem. I mainly use Zapier, but a client I am working with want s to use Integromat. Create Gmail labels for new Airtable records, streamlining organization. Add labels to Gmail emails for new Airtable records. Create Gavel sessions and send Gmail emails for new Airtable records. Create drafts in Gmail for updated Airtable records. And my code step gets all records in that view, sends the message via Man圜hat, and uncheckes the “send” box, resetting the view.I am still having trouble with this. Send Cronofy links via Gmail when new records are added to Airtable. My trigger for Zapier is a new message in that channel. And when that view is updated (I check a box), an “Airtable view updated” notification gets sent to a slack channel. So, I have a Airtable view that is based on that ‘send button’ checkbox. In Airtable, I have 1 field that contains the message to send, and another checkbox field as a ‘send’ button. The input data is parsed from the API fetch call in your code.įor example, I have a “send messages with Man圜hat” zap. Set up your Gmail filters to automatically label emails ( heres how ), and your email inbox can stay organized automatically while keeping a log of your. Set it up, and whenever you label a new email in Gmail, Zapier will automatically copy the emails details and log it to your Airtable database. So, the trigger can be anything, it doesn’t have to contain your trigger step. This Gmail-Airtable integration can help. I have set most of my triggers as Slack messages, which I can trigger manually by sending a message to that channel, or set up from an Airtable notification on the event of an updated record in a particular view, for instance.Īs far as the input data, in my code at least, it comes from the API fetch which brings in all data straight from a particular Airtable view.
